National Merit Tutor (NMT) is a group of independent academic tutors in Manhattan and Great Neck. Our specialization is teaching mastery of the skills necessary for excelling on standarized tests (PSAT, SAT, GRE, LSAT), as well as the skills needed for success in such subjects as Calculus, Computer Science, Latin and Classical Greek. We've got an experienced, specialized tutor who can help you master any one of these!
Each one of our tutors holds an Ivy League graduate degree and has scored at the 99^th percentile on at least one of the standardized tests mentioned above. Our ranks include a National Merit Scholarship Winner, a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the author of forthcoming book on Mathematics in the Middle Ages, a holder of the Ph.D. from Brown......

NMT is designed to make finding and hiring a tutor simple:
- A tutor can come to your house, or a location convenient to you
- We offer flexible scheduling-- sign up for 1 to 2 hour sessions, in blocks of 1 to 10 sessions
- We charge one uniform hourly rate
- There are no long-term commitments
